Support Groups

The Society will continue to encourage the formation of seniors and elders groups and committees in all NWT communities.  With a stronger network, all seniors and elders voices will be better able to advocate for funding, subsidy programs and other services which will provide greater support at the community level and throughout the territory.

The Society will continue to encourage and support expanded opportunities and enhanced relationships for seniors and elders across the NWT.

Inter-government committee structures which include seniors and service providers can provide support through enhanced services and advocacy efforts.
